This project began with an original home from the 1960’s, that had not been altered since new. Without altering the buildings footprint the goal was to provide a more open plan to the home. Through the alterations to the layout a new more practical kitchen space was achieved, along with a contemporary bathroom that allowed for a walk in shower. The living area was opened up to the kitchen space allowing for an open plan design. The final addition to the home was a large decking area to the backyard along with an open carport. Overall the alterations and additions resulted in a new layout with beautiful finishes throughout that have provided this old building with a new lease on life that will be enjoyed for many years to come.
